in oblivion i stole the brum cuirass in the castle baracks and got caught. can i get it back?
well in an attempt to get all of the cities armor i was stealing the bruma guard cuirass in the castle baracks. now i can always pick that item off. both of them without getting caught (theres two)
so i stole the first one. no one saw me, (i was in sneak mode with the eye so i can tell)
and i was preparing to grab the second one, i waited a couple of seconds to make sure the guard wouldnt trun around. coast was clear so far. then....i pressed the button. and at the very last millisecond the guard turned around and arrested me!!!
now the guards confiscate your stolen goods when you get arrested so now both of the bruma guard cuirass were confiscated and are not respawning.
is there any way i can get theese items again without killing a guard and looting it off his body?

Check the Evidence Chests in the Castle Dungeon, I think they'll only be there if you busted out of jail.
