Any ideas for a unique kind of gimmick for a stripper?

I don't need to be told how degrading it is to be a stripper.

I've been dancing for a year at a small club. They're closed minded and small-towney there so coming on in full 20's garb would get me laughed off stage.

I'm starting next monday at a big club in Philly. I have very short hair (think Mia Farrow, Rosemary's Baby - that style but maybe an inch more length) that's a reddish brown. I refuse to spike my hair up in the back.

This is a club where one has to wear a gown to work - that is to say one can't just wear a little bikini. I make my own costumes so my options are open but I'm leaning towards some kind of gimmick (i.e. 20's theme...)

All I can think of is doing finger waves in my hair and making a flapper Style Dress. If anyone can think of a unique schtick it'd be a huge help.

Then add the fringe so the bottom edge of the Fringe is horizontal. This will allow plenty of play and movement; plenty of "peek-a-boo."

Sleeveless? Low-cut? Sequins? Maybe even a hat!
Pretty hot.

Of course, fringe and sequins are a b*tch When they break, y'know?
